walking speed before suit is VERY slow

during the start of the game before gordon gets the suit, you are unable to run (i realize that is infact a hl2 feature) although, in hl2 you walk significantly faster without the suit than in vr, this becomes a problem when needing to escape the metropolice when they raid the building, you are unable to go fast enough and will die infinitely
