switching 'dominant hand' doesn't immediately switch weapon hand

Switching 'dominant hand' in controls and loading a previously saved game initially loads with the old hand dominant (weapon hand). However, once you start using the gun (shoot/reload) it switches across to the selected hand (left in my case) as required. 1. start game with right hand dominant 2. get far enough to get weapons (not sure if this makes any difference tbh) 3. Save game and quit to desktop 4. reload game to main menu 5. Options/controls - change 'dominant hand' to left and 'apply' 6. Load previously saved game 7. Outcome - pistol still shows in right hand (other controls are switched as expected) 8. Interact with pistol (reload/shoot) 9. Weapon glitches across to correct hand and then stays there from that point on Specs PC: Core i7 9700K - 32GB RAM - 3080 Headset: Reverb G2 Controllers: Valve Index + lighthouse tracking
