Game is only playable on proton 9

I'm a linux user, and I know that support for linux isn't really there, but i have to mention this. Trying to run the game on proton 10 or experimental causes the game to not initialize in steamvr, causing a infinite loading screen, This is primarily a issue because on proton 9 the crossbow scope shows black like it apparently used to do at one point, messing with the anti aliasing settings fixes this temporarily, but only sometimes. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use linux. 2. Launch the game under proton 10 or any variation like GE proton. 3. Watch as nothing happens. I am using a Quest 2 under ALVR with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 GPU and a 12 × Intel Core i5-10400F CPU 2.90GHz
