Game forces me to be way too tall [Game-breaking bug in Episode One VR]

I have a game breaking bug to report for Episode One VR: The game is forcing me to be as tall as Dog, so I'm towering over Alyx and it's making gameplay impossible. I tried recalibrating view, I tried restarting SteamVR, the game, everything. I had just started a new game, and after Dog pulls me out of the rubble at the beginning it suddenly makes me like 12ft tall. Please fix this or share how I can fix this so I can play this. ♥ For context, in HL2VR, I was just a few inches taller than Alyx, but in this it's forcing me to be twice her height and I can't even navigate the levels or play properly. i7-8700 1050ti 32gb RAM Quest 2 / AirLink I am currently building a new PC and will also try this game on there and will report on if the bug persists there too, but I'd like to see this fixed regardless.
